This project aims at simplifying the process of cross toolchain generation using crosstool-ng (http://ymorin.is-a-geek.org/
dokuwiki/projects/crosstool) in order to make it possible to build functional toolchains from a web interface using only
few essential parameters.

The configuration of the toolchains is passed to the build script in an XML format. The script parses the configuration
and builds a formal crosstool-ng configuration file by completing the missing parameters according to the target's default
options and some other rules used by crosstool-ng.

This work is used in conjunction with the tool miniroot (http://github.com/tmonjalo/miniroot/tree/master) to automate the
build of a minimal realtime linux system. The supported realtime patches are (xenomai, rtai and the preemp-rt patch)

Some sample XML files are provided to give an idea how the configuration is organized.

- i686-nptl-linux-gnu.xml	shows the configuration of a basic x86 toolchain
- xenomai-patches.xml is used to keep track of the patches contained in the xenomai linux patch in order to make
it easier the automated selection of a patch from a web interface. This file must be updated
each time a xenomai version is used.
