added binds and variable parsing to globals

to be fair the codebase is becoming much more complex than I initially intended for it to be, but I guess that is one step forward in the name of feature-richness

I take it you intend to replace my variable replacement logic with structs as well, if not it will be mildly annoying to maintain multiple parsers for multiple formats (.i.e --markdown, --verbose etc.)

Frankly I do not have time to go through all of the chances one by one. I am approving this PR for now, I will test more in-depth when I have the time.
