Unfortunately no SITL for MAC, as I don't own one and don't have access to one (I also failed grandiosely to get MacOS to run in a VM), maybe someone can take care of it.

For discussion;
The SITL executable (inav_sitl(.exe)) is simply located in the resource directory (I also switched off the zipping, otherwise the firewall would report every time the configurator is restarted, side effect: the configurator starts faster) and would have to be added manually with every release.
An alternative would be to download the SITL executable from Github (like the HEX files) if needed.
