Isn't that what https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Geo_URI_scheme is for? Mapping apps/services register that they support geo URIs and when you try to open one, you are given a choice of which app/service to use, even beyond what's coded in showtheway... |

Yes, it's just that Geo URI isn't rendered as a hyperlink in major messaging platforms, including but not limited to: Slack, Telegram, WhatsApp, and Facebook Messenger. Which limits the way to send portal location to:
