Where do notifications happen? #1406

This app is super useful. Thank you so much for releasing it as open source and as a PWA! I'm wondering if I can use this as a replacement for Google Tasks/Reminders/Keep. Can you provide more information about where notifications for scheduled tasks get sent to? Is it just in the desktop app, or also browser app, mobile PWA, and/or Android app? Would it require syncing manually on mobile to pick up a new task that was scheduled in the desktop app? |

Hi there! The notifications should work for every platform (web notifications are used), but require the app to be running. This can be a bit tricky for the mobile context, as apps in the background behave a bit differently so notifications won't sometimes work, if the app wasn't open for some time. Definitely something that could use some improvement! |

The topic is quite old, but I came across the app today and it's great, but the absence of the notifications on Android if the app is closed is the primary reason why I can't easily switch to it. Or I should consider using the google calendar for the stuff that needs notifications, which might not follow the idea of using single app for my task management. I wonder if this is something that can be implemented any time soon. |
