What is tilting/tenting (from https://docs.splitkb.com/hc/en-us/articles/360019770320-What-are-tenting-and-tilting-):

I do NOT recommend tiliting/tinting acrylic cases, they are prone to cracking. If you want to try them you'll need more screws:

3mm acrylic case, M2 countersink screws and 6mm standoffs, tenting made of M5 screws (2x30mm and 2x16mm).

You may use Chicago screws to lay the case flat (screws are M5x10 mm, acrylic case 3 mm):

There are a few solutions aside from tilted/tenting case:

These stepless steel phone stands. The manufacturer is called "BSOON", the rest is from German Amazon so it probably won't help you much (assuming you're not in Germany). But it's also available on AliExpress. It's a very sturdy hinge, it holds ipad pro 12.9 without trouble.

Alternatives:

Laptop legs

Foldable laptop/keyboard legs, sell on aliexpress for about $8 a 2 pcs set. Haven't tried but they look pretty neat.

You can just search for "Universal Laptop Stand Mini" on Aliexpress, they are very cheap (about $1-$2 a piece):
