Welcome to the official repository of the Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA) Study Group! We're excited to have you on board as we embark on a 12-week immersive journey into the world of Kubernetes to help you achieve CKA certification excellence.
Are you ready to elevate your Kubernetes expertise and join a community of like-minded learners? The CKA Study Group is designed to guide individuals preparing for the CKA exam within the next 3-6 months. Whether you're new to Kubernetes or already have a solid foundation, our program is tailored to all knowledge levels.
Welcome to our weekly challenge series, where we present you with real-world scenarios to enhance your Kubernetes skills. These challenges are designed to test your understanding of Kubernetes concepts in practical situations. Follow these steps to contribute and participate:
- Fork the Repository: Start by visiting our CKA-Study-Group repository on GitHub. Fork the repository to your own GitHub account by clicking the "Fork" button in the upper right corner of the repository page.
- Clone the Repository: Once you have forked the repository, clone your forked copy to your local machine using the git clone command.
- Navigate to Challenges: Inside the cloned repository, go to the "Study Group Challenges" folder. You'll see subfolders organized by challenges, each housing that week's challenge.
- Stay Updated: Monitor the dedicated #cka-study-group Slack channel for weekly challenge announcements. If you haven't joined yet, click here to stay informed about the latest challenges.
- Work on Your Solution: Read the challenge description and work on your solution. Use your knowledge of Kubernetes concepts and best practices to tackle the problem effectively.
- Submit Your Solution: Inside the "Study Group Submissions" folder, find the challenge-specific folder (e.g., "Challenge-1-Responses"). Create a Markdown file with your username (e.g., "user_name.md") to document your solution. You can use the challenge_response_template.md as a guide for formatting your submission.
- Commit and Push: Once you have added your solution to the appropriate folder, commit your changes with a descriptive message and push them to your forked repository on GitHub.
- Create a Pull Request: Go back to the main CKA-Study-Group repository on GitHub. From your forked repository, initiate a pull request. Provide a clear title and description for your pull request, mentioning the week and challenge you are addressing.
- Make sure your solution is well-documented, explaining the thought process and steps you took to solve the challenge.
- Feel free to explore different approaches and share your insights in the pull request description.
- Collaborate and engage in discussions about various solutions proposed by the community members.
- Be open to feedback and suggestions from others to improve your skills and understanding.
- Engaging Learning: Our study group thrives on active participation, discussions, and collaborative problem-solving. Expect an engaging and enriching learning experience.
- Mentorship by Experts: Learn from experienced Kubernetes professionals who are dedicated to your success and growth.
- Supportive Community: Connect with like-minded individuals, form study partnerships, and foster valuable relationships within the Kubernetes sphere.
