Question on picking up custom css

Hey @yuvipanda. Thanks for pointing me to your simple spawner. I wondered if you could help me with another problem. Now I've migrated to jupyterhub my custom css aren't being picked up by notebooks running via jupyter-singleuser.

On my server I have:

~/.jupyter/custom/css - Custom styling

When I run 'jupyter notebook' the styling gets picked up. But when I create a notebook via jupyterhub with the simple spawner they are not. I'm struggling to follow the code through to the difference between the two methods and hoped you may be able to point me in the right direction? I don't know if it's related to simple spawner or it's a byproduct of the jupyterhub setup. Any help would be massively appreciated.

Heya! Since this is not specific to the simple spawner, asking in the JupyterHub repo (github.com/jupyterhub/jupyterhub) might be more helpful! I haven't done stuff with custom styles at all, unfortunately, so am unable to help :(
