Where exactly is brod trying to pump up the version through git repository?

What exactly is the problem, I copied brod as an erlang library for the project, since I build it through the build, I can't pump something from the git, when building the build, it gives me an error that I tried to change the version of brod apparently through git, he failed and he put version 0.0.0. Where this code is stored, I want to encode the version so that it does not access the git.
