We have discussed different implementations of a caching mechanism in CI. This is to speed up the feedback loop and to not waste machine cycles.

This ticket is to come up with one or a couple of POC, to see what could be done e.g. caching a base image per day, caching the distro repositories, etc

Either come up with an implementation or have a card to make the POC official
