It's either this or flagging all "interface API" functions as -ignore_xref, which is potentially more difficult to maintain. Choices (?)
If we fix for Elvis we get a compiler warning

Description
I didn't do all I wanted (ran out of time) but I did all I wanted in terms of
rebar.config. Whatever's left I'll pick up later.I try to prepare this for Erlang/OTP 27.x but can't guarantee everything's Ok, which is why I don't add it to CI
