Implement custom request headers for backend config #795

I've updated #572

  • Add e2e test based on the CDN test
  • Config with a struct containing the headers list
  • Custom resources headers are now GA

Hi @mcfedr. Thanks for your PR.

I'm waiting for a kubernetes member to verify that this patch is reasonable to test. If it is, they should reply with /ok-to-test on its own line. Until that is done, I will not automatically test new commits in this PR, but the usual testing commands by org members will still work. Regular contributors should join the org to skip this step.

Once the patch is verified, the new status will be reflected by the ok-to-test label.

I understand the commands that are listed here.

@rramkumar1 as the previous PR by @pondohva seems to have stalled I've made the changes requested there, as well as rebasing on master

Apologies for the delayed review, thanks for the work!

Generally LGTM, but you do need a rebase since a lot of changes have gone in before this.
