If you create a symlink for the nitrogen.cfg config file, nitrogen will overwrite it each time the settings are changed.

This makes it more difficult to put dotfiles into source control.

Fix Issue with Replacing Config File Symlinks
79158b4 
Replace writing the configu fileo through GLib and use an output file stream
which will automatically reference the symlink. This is the same behavior used
when writing the background file.
