About The Project

This project is a simple port of Alpine Linux releases for OpenStack environments.
This image used the the project alpine-make-vm-image to build base image and we make some change to make it compatible with OpenStack environments and cloud-init.

This image is updated when Alpine Linux team released a new version of the OS here.

How to use this image

1. Set your OpenStack environement variables
2. Download the latest image from the repository page
3. Upload image to your OpenStack environment

   openstack image create --disk-format=qcow2 --container-format=bare --file alpine-<VERSION>-x86_64.qcow2  'Alpine <VERSION>'
