Context

Nowadays we are supporting both:

  • Bionic + Dashing (for maliput packages)
  • Focal + Foxy (for maliput and delphyne packages)

Victory Condition

Deprecates support for BIonic + Dashing in the maliput packages.

Suggested steps

  • Update CI workflows to work only on Focal + Foxy configuration
  • Update Dockerfiles to provide only a Focal + Foxy set up.
  • Update Installation&Quickstart page.
  • Remove .repos files from repos_index repo.

Follow up changes

  • Use system pybind11.
  • Update ament macros if old macros were being used to support dashing
