Sure, the product is "TourVisión". But the bootlegger(company) as well? Show me a credible source where Tourvision, S.A. is named TourVisión.

Sure, the product is "TourVisión". But the bootlegger(company) as well? Show me a credible source where Tourvision, S.A. is named TourVisión.

Is not that easy... The company was legally registered as "TOURVISION SA" (see https://www.boe.es/boe/dias/2018/12/19/pdfs/BOE-A-2018-17408.pdf, it's the official document where the company was officially de-registered).

At that time, here on Spain companies were registered on all capital letters and without punctuation marks , and also, at that time, Spanish typewriters had problems with acutes on capital letters (see https://es.wikipedia.org/wiki/Acentuaci%C3%B3n_de_las_may%C3%BAsculas), so it was a common practice to avoid acutes on capital letters on official documents.

Having said that, one thing is the company name, and another the commercial brand. As an example, Cirsa (another Spanish gaming company) is registered as "Cirsa Compañía de Inversiones, S.A.", but we use just "Cirsa" on MAME. Or Cocamatic, registered as "COMERCIAL COCAMATIC SA", but we use just Cocamatic.
Another clear example is EFOSA (we have their "Magnet System" on MAME, where this official document clearly separates the registered name "Electrónica Funcional Operativa SA" from the brand name "EFOSA" (And we use "EFO SA" on MAME): https://www.boe.es/boe/dias/1987/03/03/pdfs/A06380-06381.pdf

I'd say that the common approach on MAME is using the commercial name/brand, and not the legally registered one.

Anyway, it's a minor detail, I can leave it as it was before, just tell me

I don't think we do full company trade names i.e. we don't write Capcom Co. Ltd. or even CAPtive COMmunications but just use the brand name that everyone knows, Capcom

Or at least we don't do that as current things stands, that's imho a job for a smarter metadata aggregation that isn't just manufacturer glued in GAME & bro. macros.
