Hi @JimSpeed , could you please provide additional details on what you mean?
I think the File Explorer already has similar features, like setting the view options by folder and remembering them, having "Customize this folder..." option on right-click, etc...

Hi @JimSpeed ,

Thank you for the clarification to your suggestion, as it's possible this might be a future PowerToy if it's a feature achievable through one.

My own experience when using Windows 10 is that I have the "Details" view by default and Windows 10 seems to remember folder specific settings through updates (for example, my Downloads folder with extra columns and ordered to show the most recent downloads first, stays that way). Your experience seems to be different, though.
The Feedback Hub might be a better way of sending feedback concerning the File Explorer: https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/4021566/windows-10-send-feedback-to-microsoft-with-feedback-hub

In "Folder Options", "View", there's a button to apply the current "view (such as Details or Icons) to all folders of this type."

Suggestions regarding other PowerToys, like the batch file renamer, would be better discussed in their separate issues.

Thank you for your comments 👍
