Selecting the Linux package to use:
RPM for Red Hat Linux, AIX, CentOS, Fedora
DEB for debian based Linux, such as Ubuntu, Trisqel and of course Debian itself
These packages are hardware platform specific. If you are not sure of the hardware platform then use lscpu, for example:
