Is there any way to download only English archives on hitomi?

Hitomi has a "Language" button at the top-right. Select the language you want there and use the resulting URL, e.g. https://hitomi.la/tag/female:sole%20female-english.html.

Alternatively, you could --filter non-English galleries with something like

--filter "lang == 'en'"

but that's not very efficient.

i am sorry i just have another question when i convert archives in cbz the duplicate function doesn't work it just downloads the archive without cbz compression does this problem has any solution?

Use a --download-archive.

  --download-archive FILE     Record all downloaded or skipped files in FILE
                              and skip downloading any file already in it

Also, gallery-dl's CBZ archive functionality is bad.
