Looks like Shimmie2 may already be partially supported, although under the extractor name "mememuseum".

Commit 7865067 adds generic extractors for shimmie2 sites, with default support for https://booru.cavemanon.xyz/ and https://loudbooru.com/ among others.

https://booru.cavemanon.xyz/ is a bit different in that it doesn't have any md5 metadata and it raises a 404 error upon having downloaded all images from a tag search (couldn't be bothered to implement a proper "end" condition), but, other than that, it also works.
