Can't open wave file in NG 17.0

I have been using successfully Papagayo 1.4.2 for many years and I just installed Papagayo-Ng 1.7 on a windows 11 machine. I have tried to load .wav file (using Audacity) on the new NG1.7, but it seems not working. The green bar blinks a little and then nothing. In the download menu I did download FFMPEG, closed and opened Papagayo-NG again. But still impossible to load any audio.
In the settings under Misc, I checked the Log files but found only one Log file which is empty.
Can you help? Should I reload the software?

I'm not sure what the cause is here, maybe it has something to do with Windows 11.
You could try to open settings.ini there with a text editor.
Under [General] there is an option called audio_output, which is usually set to new, try setting this to old.
I'm curious to know if this changes the behavior.

Thanks for your response. I did modify the settings.ini by setting audio_output to old instead of new. Unfortunatly nothing changed. The wave form still doesn’t load and all of the buttons keep grey. As soon as you click on one of them, then the application crashes. For your info it takes very long (at least 1mn) for the new Papagoyo application to open. Quite unusual, taking into account that I have a good machine with 512Gb SD memory and lots of RAM. Perhaps the problem has something to do with Windows 11, but I think it’d be good that this new version can eventually run on Windows 11, as used by lots of users today. Best. I just discovered that despite I did modify the setting.ini file to audio_output set to old, this change actually didn’t occur and the .ini file keeps its original setting with the audio_output still set to new. I tried again but the .ini file stays unchanged with audio_output still set to new. I probably missed something when changing the option. Would it be possible eventually that you do this change (correctly) and send me the updated .ini file. I’ll then replace the existing one with yours. This would allow us to check if this changes the behavior. Thanks for yor support. Boa noite. Não tenho como enviar prints agora. Mas o meu problema é que não há animação da boca. Importo o áudio digito o texto, até aqui funciona muito bem, só que na hora que aperto o play não há animação da boca .
