Repository files navigation

First things first

  • Change name {workspace} to your repo project name and {app} to your app name.

  • Setup postgres (DATABASE_URL). Neon preferred for easy setup or run local script for docker.

  • Setup NextAuth (NEXTAUTH_SECRET, NEXTAUTH_URL), Discord Provider (DISCORD_CLIENT_ID, DISCORD_CLIENT_SECRET) and GitHub Provider (GITHUB_CLIENT_ID, GITHUB_CLIENT_SECRET).

  • Install bun and bun i to install deps.

  • bun db:push to push schema to db without migrations bullshit.

  • bun dev to start the local dev setup.

  • Head over to the code and follow the lead!

Remote Caching

Turborepo can use a technique known as Remote Caching to share cache artifacts across machines, enabling you to share build caches with your team and CI/CD pipelines.

By default, Turborepo will cache locally. To enable Remote Caching you will need an account with Vercel. If you don't have an account you can create one, then enter the following commands:

cd m
bun x turbo login

This will authenticate the Turborepo CLI with your Vercel account.

Next, you can link your Turborepo to your Remote Cache by running the following command from the root of your Turborepo:

bun x turbo link
