HELP! Nothing is working! What do I do?

You read through this page, that's what you do

My game just shows a black screen, and nothing else.

This means you re-ran IPA.exe after the game updated, but before running it. Don't do this. To fix, simply verify integrity of game files. Unfortunately, Oculus users will have to do a full reinstall.

An update happened, and no mods are loading.

In most cases, if you just leave the game running for about 5 minutes, it will automatically download the new versions of mods and they will be there when you restart the game. If that does not work, then go and run one of the installers to select the mods you want.

The game doesn't start, it just shows something about a GetThreadContext Error.

This is a known issue, with unknown causes. Several anticheats such as ESEA and FaceIt are known to consistently cause it, however there may be other causes. Try disabling and uninstalling them. If those fail, go to #mod-development in the discord and task about it there, any info you can give us will be helpful. In addition, post as much as you can about your setup in #8 as you can, including any antiviruses, anticheats, or competitive games that you play.
