infant_recon_all does not guarantee reproducibility

What happened?

Looking through the infant_recon_all log, this line pops up a few times.

mris_sphere supposed to be reproducible but seed not set

What command did you use?

infant_recon_all --age 2 --masked masked.nii.gz --outdir /work/sub-01 --subject sub-01

21.0.0 release candidates (rc)

was there an update on this? i also see this message but i'm not sure if it will affect the output?

AFAIK, there hasn't been any updates to infant_recon_all - I haven't inspected the log in awhile but it's possible the seed used is logged there, perhaps @lillazollei may know
