Public participation

We stream our conference call straight to YouTube so anyone can listen to it live, it should start playing at https://www.youtube.com/c/nodejs+foundation/live when we turn it on. There's usually a short cat-herding time at the start of the meeting and then occasionally we have some quick private business to attend to before we can start recording & streaming. So be patient and it should show up.

Many of us will be on IRC in #node-dev on Freenode if you'd like to interact, we have a Q/A session scheduled at the end of the meeting if you'd like us to discuss anything in particular. @nodejs/collaborators in particular if there's anything you need from the TSC that's not worth putting on as a separate agenda item, this is a good place for that.

For fs: add missed FSWatcher.prototype.start deprecation (nodejs/node#29989): To the extent that there's been TSC participation, consensus seems to be that we can skip a deprecation for this and move directly to removal. Three Four TSC members (@addaleax, @cjihrig, @targos, me) have expressed that viewpoint. If I understand @jasnell correctly, he's OK with that as long as there's TSC consensus on it. (Please correct me if I've misrepresented anyone's viewpoint!)

The removal is in the 13.0.0 proposal, and 13.0.0 is slated for release tomorrow or tomorrow-ish.

Unless @jasnell or someone else opposes this approach, I think we can close that pull request and remove it from the agenda.

I'd like us to replace the discussion for ESM specifier hazards with a 10 - 15 minute Q/A with the @nodejs/modules team

We are putting the finishing touches on a document that I will share with the TSC before EOD today that should have all context folks need to have an active discussion / ask questions

to be a bit more explicit I'd like the TSC to invite the nodejs modules team to join our meeting on wednesday for 10 - 15 minutes to answer questions

Any objections?

@mhdawson there has been a request from a member of the modules team to run the Q/A in the first half of the meeting. Any concerns?
