Digital Security Lab Ukraine managed efforts to establish a nationwide Internet censorship measurement system in Ukraine. In doing so, they engaged volunteers across different regions of Ukraine with the use of [OONI Probe](https://ooni.org/install/) for censorship measurement, and they performed analysis of [OONI data](https://ooni.org/data/) to uncover censorship events. They published several [reports](https://medium.com/@cyberlabukraine) documenting their findings, showing how internet censorship varies across regions and networks within Ukraine. |

IPYS Venezuela monitors and denounces violations of the exercise of the rights to free expression and access to information, safeguarding and protecting the rights of journalists and communication professionals to carry out their work. | ||

IPYS Venezuela defends the legal framework that guarantees the exercise of freedom of expression and the right to information according to international standards, and as cornerstones of the democratic coexistence of citizens. | ||

Their [Intercortados project](https://ipysvenezuela.org/intercortados/), which investigated internet censorship in Venezuela through the use of [OONI Probe](https://ooni.org/install/) and [OONI data](https://ooni.org/data/), was **[nominated for the 2019 Gabo Award](https://premioggm.org/premio-gabo/edicion/2019/nominados/)**, among the 10 best innovation projects. |
