Required Fields

A number of data profiles have been defined, outlining the data points that should be available for:

• Core Usability
• Accessibility Support
• Social Prescribing

Reviewing the bulk of data from our feeds, however, it is clear that many need to be improved over the long term, and that filtration of those which do not provide a useful or usable set of data is required. For these purposes, the following fields should be viewed as REQUIRED:

• @type
• url
• name
• activity
• location
• organizer
• startDate
• one of offers or isAccessibleForFree

Note that the above list does not correspond precisely to the fields defined as REQUIRED in either the Opportunity or Open Booking specifications. It simply describes the bare minimum of fields that need to be present for usable information to be extracted. Without all of these present, it is difficult to envisage what use-case (even an exploratory one) would be served by a data item.
