OpenSearch is a community-driven, open source fork of Elasticsearch and Kibana licensed under the Apache v2.0 License. For more information, see opensearch.org.
This project is dedicated to build and to provide a cloud native infrastructure for the Dashboards service. The infrastructure leverages Kubernetes on orchestration, lifecycle management, and extensibility. The goal is to provide a way to deploy a production-ready Dashboards cluster on any cloud provider, as well as on-premise data centers.
There will be a web API and a command line API that are targeted to different types of use cases. Web interface provides an interface for better integrations with other systems and the command line API is mainly provide the ease of use for daily operations.
