I tried latest master: spl-86fd39f/zfs-218b8ea. The result is quite surprising: using zfs send/zfs receive over SSH now works, but using zfs receive with a local file as input still doesn't work (same symptoms with zfs receive blocked on a ioctl consuming 100% CPU).

This was resolved in the context of the recently fixed send/recv issues. We'll open a new issue if others report the same problem.
