It seems since installing 2023.40.2 that the OS > Settings > Update is no longer able to refresh and see new builds (last check on screen was Oct 6th). To upgrade in the past I've usually just booted the pi and plugged in an Ethernet cable to get the pi online and download the next OTA package using the flutter/browser interface, this no longer seems to work. The Release notes mention the flutter app able to now indicate updates but all I'm seeing in the main GUI is an orange download icon next to the settings cog in the top right and clicking it does not appear to do anything. Has anyone got any pointers as to what I'm missing? |

To follow up in case it's useful to anyone I was able to update by browsing to the GitHub releases using the browser and downloading the latest RELEASE-rpi4.zip to the pi. Then picked the download as a local update to import the package. The new installed version 2023.42.2 after boot still won't refresh the updates list for me even though connectivity is proven as working via the browser but at least it can be worked around. |
