Problem installing lokinet

I want to install lokinet in linux and i just compiled it. When i execute "lokinet" in the command line it gives me an error like this:

I suppose the error is that there is no bootstrap.signed file in the ~.lokinet directory, i made one but I suppose there must be something in there and it gave me an error like this:

yeah, you'll want to copy contrib/bootstrap/mainnet.signed to ~/.lokinet/bootstrap.signed

Worked. Now that I run lokinet am I already using lokinet? there is no gui where I can configure things?

there is a lokinet.ini at ~/.lokinet/lokinet.ini with basically all of the configurable options. you can override them by placing .ini files into ~/.lokinet/conf.d/ and they will be loaded in lexicographical order. you dont need to edit lokinet.ini if you dont want to and i often find using the conf.d directory to be a lot less messy.
