Snapshot of the Palaeo_Curve_Tool plugin. This plugin is still experimental.

Install
To install copy the Palaeo_Curve_Tool-1.0-SNAPSHOT.jar file to your Imagej.app/plugins/Tools folder and start ImageJ. Open up ImageJ and navigate to the Plugins>Tools menu, and click on the "Palaeo Curve Tool" menu item. The Palaeo Curve Tool will now be available from the ImageJ toolbar.

Use
To use (once installed) simply click, drag and release on an image to define a starting point (Bezier control START_POINT) and the first Bezier control point. Then click , drag and release again to define the curves end point (Bezier control END_POINT) and second Bezier control point. The shape of the curve can be altered by clicking on any of the control points and dragging them around until the desired shape is reached. A single clicking anywhere on the image while holding down the ALT key (outside the control points) will remove the curve. The point(s) of maximum curvature is/are indicated on the curve by a small red dot, next to which a text label shows the percentage position of this point from the first control point.

Note: multiple curve segments are "semi-supported", but more works needs to be done. To clone a control point click on it holding the SHIFT key down. Clicking on a control point while holding CTRL will remove that control point.
