Introduction

Battery-board is maybe panStamp's most popular carrier board. It features a MAX1724 step-up converter so the board can get a stable 3.3 VDC level from an AA battery providing between 0.8 and 3 VDC. The board supports a variety of sensors, including NTC thermistor, SI7021 for temperature and humidity and BMP180 for barometric pressure and temperature.

battery-board

Battery-board is specially designed for ambient measurements and can be paired with panStamp's wall-mountable enclosure with perfect ventilation for this kind of projects.

Pinout and ports

Battery-board can be equipped with any mini-carrier board stacked onto it. The available pinout can also be used as an in-circuit interface to program the on-board panStamp module.
