insomnia-plugin-autoseries

This is a series number generator with a prefix. This uses the local storage in electron and not Insomnia's context.store facility.

Install

• Clone this repo to your computer under the appropriate directory: ** MacOS: ~/Library/Application\ Support/Insomnia/plugins/ ** Windows: %APPDATA%\Insomnia\plugins
  ** Linux: $XDG_CONFIG_HOME/Insomnia/plugins/ or ~/.config/Insomnia/plugins/
• Open Insomnia and use as you would a template tag

To do:

• Feature to reset the series when the number is too high. Only way to reset now is by clearing the local storage under DevTools (This is insomnia's problem right now)
• Prevent Insomnia to trigger generation of new series every time the mouse hovers on the template tag -- As mentioned by the Insomnia developer, this is the default behavior of Insomnia so no way for now to prevent this
