Amazon (July 2022 – Present)
Software Development Engineer
- Contributed to the Amazon Insurance Store (AIS) Post Purchase team. Developed an end-to-end Chargeback Notification process, automating reporting and saving 16 hours annually.
- Implemented scheduling capabilities for the AIS Notification Engine using AWS EventBridge, enabling execution of future-dated events. This feature was pivotal for marking policies inactive upon expiry in real time and sending renewal intimation emails to customers.
- Led efforts to achieve Full Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) for the AIS Post Purchase pipeline, increasing event-wise test coverage by 65% and migrating test execution to AWS Fargate.
- Developed a centralized metrics dashboard for the Amazon Rewards and Benefits team, reducing debugging effort by over 95%.
- Enhanced the Rewards and Benefits engine to process digital order metadata and transmit it to co-branded credit card clients, successfully handling metadata for numerous orders, averaging 250 transactions per second.
