Addresses #386. Blocked by #389.
This draft PR contains generic Monte Carlo sampler/gradient tests for distribution funsors. These tests were originally part of #389 but they are very finicky and don't seem all that useful. I'm putting up this PR in case it's useful for discussing #386 and #389, but it may never need to be merged.
