Note: CI is failing for this PR, due to an error frompak. I'm unsure what's caused this, and investigating...After discussion with Gabor, I now know what's happening. See r-wasm/webr#422 for details. We'll need to continue to work around the problem for now, since the fix to webR's Docker images won't apply retroactively.
