YAML stands for "YAML Ain't Markup Language" and is a human-readable data serialisation language. Its footprint is smaller than XML and more readable compared to JSON.
DeTT&CT uses YAML files to administrate data sources, visibility, techniques and groups. The following file types can be identified:
- Data sources administration:
- Technique administration (visibility and detection coverage)
- Groups administration
- To edit YAML files, we highly recommend using the DeTT&CT Editor.
- The Editor is operating entirely client-side.
- For a description of the data fields and objects, check the documentation pages:
- The full YAML specification can be found here.
