In order to incrementally improve the user experience through the feedback we've been hearing. This redesign includes some notable changes such as:
- Update to the mega menu to reduce accidental opening of the menu
- Re-positioning of the login buttons due to feedback that users doesn't know where to go to login
- Making frequently used links more salient in an effort to be more usable
- Reducing white space to allow more information to be accessible
- Adding a table of contents for Official Documentation to make it easier to track reading progress
The general color theme has also been updated to match that of the Liferay.com new branding update. For more details and see the other changes, refer to the redesign epic.
With this redesign, we are also releasing a new experimental product called Developer Services. A new landing page has been created for the product. LHC-903
