Better way to access dashboard #79

Originally I had this as a toggle, permanent dashboard icon. I'd like to keep in in the user menu, but agree that there should be another method that doesn't require opening the user menu. I like the idea of small "handles". |

Might be just me, but I feel like the dashboard panel should be one-click accessible rather than in a dropdown menu. My proposal would be to have a "handle", a small section of the bottom of the dashboard panel that remains visible when closed. Clicking this handle slides out the full dashboard, and clicking it again slides the dashboard closed. When closed it could say "Open Dashboard" centered on the handle, and when open, "Close Dashboard".
Just an idea for discussion.
