Impact: minor
Type: chore

Part of epic #4996

Issue

Startup code is setting appVersion property on every Shop document. Nothing uses this. It's accessible from the systemInformation GraphQL query if needed.

Solution

  • Remove appVersion from shop schema
  • Remove code that was setting it
  • Migration to delete appVersion property from the database

Breaking changes

If custom code is relying on shop.appVersion, it will need to be updated to use the systemInformation GraphQL query.

Testing

  • Verify app starts
  • Look at Shops collection in database and verify shops do not have appVersion field. Logging should also show that migration 70 ran successfully.
