I'd love to create a donation page RGSoC style where we list our 'mission statement' and a way for companies and people to give donations. Let's discuss how we can do this in the easiest possible way, without losing too much in Paypal fees etc etc. Let's also discuss through what organization we could manage the money flow. And maybe we can come up with different 'packages' when reaching our to potential sponsors.
"Our mission is to remove barriers for people to start contributing to Open Source. Pair programming with the maintainers of major projects is an unique experience and we believe that people partaking in our hackathon will continue to (help) create excellent free software.
In order to do that we need monetary support to finance the travel and accommodation of our speakers, remote team members, food & drinks, location and promotion material. Entrance for attendees should always be free."
