This PR cleans up the section about profiling the compiler. It does the following things:
rustc-perf
for profiling.bootstrap
integration withrustc-perf
, introduced in Add ax perf
command for integrating bootstrap withrustc-perf
rust#126318, Implementx perf
as a separate tool rust#127002 and Port rustc perf cmp command rust#128868.rustc-perf
usage from theperf
section, since there is now a dedicatedrustc-perf
section. The new section mostly links to existingrustc-perf
integration, I don't think that duplicating the docs is ideal (case in point: the existingrustc-perf
example was using CLI options that are no longer used byrustc-perf
).
