I think it's better to use here "операції з матрицями" or "операції над матрицями".. something like that

I guess you need to use comma before "що". But honestly saying - I'm not 100% sure.

I'll prefer to use "Дії з градієнтами", "Дії над градієнтами" or even maybe.
на - це так, наче ти стоїш на градієнтові ногами і щось там на ньому робиш. Як "танці НА столах" :)
