IIS status

HI Simon,

Could you please let me know if using iis module, i can check if a site under IIS is stooped or started?
I mean can we know the status of IIS(Started or stopped).

Hi Mamta. The module can't ensure a site is started or stopped if that's what you mean. It will require some extra code to do it as appcmd.exe works a little differently for starting and stopping sites as it does for other stuff. It's not something I'll be able to add immediately. I'll leave this issue open till I get a chance to implement it.
