I want to really start looking at skynet; (should I be using skynet2).

however I cannot see any clear docs on Getting Started; (Either golang or the Ruby)

In a nut shell I want to run on my local machine create some Services and see what I can come up with.

what are the easiest coolest steps to get this going? I think this would really helpful for people that want to get to grip oon this beast

Thanks

I second this, now that I have some time on my hands I would like to try
and learn skynet in a fast forward style so I can get up to speed and start
making working applications.

Skynet2 is where we're doing all the work, and it'll be merged back into this repo shortly. What we're missing right now is lots of good user documentation. Sorry - we're busy finishing all the big stuff first. We'll leave this issue open until we can make a better documentation effort.

Maybe others who are using skynet can chime in with some quick getting started guides?

just seen a nice big refactor; skydns 😄 ;

I would really like to get learning skynet basically from an App point of view creating clients and services; is there a Docker image out there with the new setup so I can get testing and creating services;

thanks

Brilliant idea. We'll whip something up, but it will be a few days at least. Still much refactoring going on.
