ElectroKart is an online e-commerce application designed to offer a seamless shopping experience. Built with React for the frontend and Node.js for the backend, ElectroKart enables users to browse and purchase products with ease.

4. Installation

Follow these steps to set up ElectroKart locally:

Prerequisites

• Node.js (version >= 14.x)
• npm (version >= 6.x)

You can check if Node.js and npm are installed by running:

node -v
npm -v

Steps to Install ElectroKart

1. Clone the repository:

git clone https://github.com/<your-github-username>/ElectroKart.git

2. Navigate to the project directory

cd ElectroKart

3. Install the dependencies:

• For Frontend:

cd frontend
npm install
npm start

• For Backend:

cd backend
npm install
node index.js

4.Start the application:

npm start

5. Usage

Once you have set up the project, you can:

• Run the development server: The app will run at http://localhost:3000/ for the frontend.
