I'm an applied mathematician and software developer, working on the neat-python neuroevolution library. This library is currently used in a wide variety of research and application projects.

Your sponsorship allows me to spend more time improving neat-python itself, as well as adding examples that make it easier for researchers to ramp up and get their ideas implemented.

I will be able to spend the time to regularly query paper authors and application developers for their feedback on the neat-python library. It is important to incorporate this feedback into the development process so the implementation is as consistent as possible with the current NEAT literature, is well documented, and is also simple to use without requiring deep knowledge of the library or the NEAT methods themselves.
