I've been a software guy for many years and have contributed to a variety of open source projects, big & small, since the early 1990s.

I use & tinker with many open source projects and tend to do a lot of "drive-bys" on repos to report or fix bugs. If I can't fix the issue, I at least leave detailed bug reports for those who can.

My current larger project is gactar which is a tool for exploring cognitive modelling using the ACT-R theory. Along side that I have a VS Code extension for working with gactar.

I created GDExtensionTemplate for developing Godot extensions using CMake.

I also maintain libE57Format which is a library for reading/writing E57 LiDAR point cloud files.

My other open source projects may be found on GitLab and Codeberg.

In the past I spent a lot of time on CloudCompare which is software for working with 3D point clouds.

I maintained and distributed the macOS version of CloudCompare for many years and was the project's "bit janitor". I went through and updated code for style and for consistency, as well as working on some larger issues like the plugin interface and the cmake files.
