Become a sponsor to Peter Mbanugo
Hey there π
I'm glad that you have considered sponsoring me ππ½
About my work
I'm a Senior Software Engineer & Consultant from Nigeria π³π¬, based in Germany. In my free time, I contribute to OSS projects in various forms such as:
- Code & PR reviews
- Writing documentation
- the free technical blogs/tutorial I share on my blog or on DEV
- Maintaining my own projects (e.g Flargd & Heroku Review Apps Action)
What I'm working on π» π¨
Currently, I'm active on the following projects:
- Flargd: A fast & minimalist feature flagging solution that runs on Cloudflare Workers
- Knative: Knative is an open-source, enterprise-level solution to build serverless and event-driven applications. My contributions are mostly on documentation and tutorials I share on DEV
- heroku-review-apps-action: A GitHub action to help companies and developers solve the problem caused by the downtime of Heroku + GitHub CI/CD integration. The focus is on automating the aspect of creating and deleting review apps for PRs. I am the core maintainer.
Why your sponsorship is important to me
I enjoy solving technical problems and I would love to continue sharing my ideas as free and open-source solutions.
That means that I can't spend all my waking time doing free open source work and not get any monetary value. There are paid gigs that are fighting for the same time, energy and creativity that I spend on OSS. Your sponsorship will help me focus on actively contributing to and maintaining these projects, without worrying that I won't be able to solve my money needs. Also, it's a way to show that you appreciate and value my work.
The money will also go into services needed to manage these projects. For example, paying for Kubernetes clusters and other cloud solutions, or SaaS products for other integrations to better serve you.
I'm looking forward to your sponsorship π
